Peruvian silver 950 is a special silver used for handmade silver jewelry in Peru. There are different levels of purity, Pure silver (100%) means Silver 1000, it is very soft and for this reason it can’t be used in jewelry work. The silver which is use for all our collections is silver 950; this is an alloy of 95% silver with 5% copper.
During the Inca Empire, silver was a very important material, since it constituted the base for sophisticated metallurgic alloys. Gold and Silver were closely related to the sun and the moon, which represented gods during those times because of their shine and colors these precious metals were used for their religious offerings and ceremonies.
The Village of San Jeronimo of Tunan province of Huancayo, Junin is known through Peru as the ancestral land of artist and craftsmen in silver filigree, Through the years the labor of these master craftsmen has consolidated and is a synonym for innovative design and high quality. Therefore, nowadays Peru is currently one of the leading producers of silver worldwide.

Alpaca deken"Chacana-Inca Kruis"

Alpacawol; komt van de Titicaca regio uit Peru. Alpacawol is een zeer kostbare fijne wol die zacht en soepel op de huid aanvoelt van een hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Alpacawol is de Rolls Royce onder de wolsoorten!
Deze deken zijn dubbelzijdig geweven, zeer zachtverend en zeer ruim gemaakt om je lekker in te wikkelen. De gebruikte Alpaca zijn afkomstig uit de streek van het Titicameer op 4000 meter hoogte tussen Bolivia en Peru.
Alpaca is zeer zacht en "schuimig". Wie eenmaal een Alpaca deken heeft geprobeerd wil geen andere meer!
